Derby Day

Derby Day is a match between two local football clubs that are geographically close to each other with bragging rights at stake. The term comes from a horse race started by the Earl of Derby in 1780. These are creations designed for a personal social media account to showcase various designs as e-invites for a watch party. Created using Fresco, Illustrator, Photoshop.

Featured from The Guardian - Tottenham goalkeeper John Hollowbread jumping to keep warm in the third round FA Cup match in January 1964. Spurs were considered a powerhouse in the sixties and a historical photograph recognized by sports photographer Gerry Cranham.
